$270,000,000 Spent on an EXPLOSION

The NASA spacecraft “CO2 Hunter” was going to find the largest source of carbon dioxide. Unfortunately, it had a malfunction and crashed over the Atlantic Ocean. NASA said the problem was the weight distribution. The “Hunter” was similar to the Taurus XL. The Taurus XL accomplished 8 flights and was successful. The Taurus was launched in 1994 and cost $270,000,000. The U.S. space agency is putting together a “Mishap investigation board” to find the cause for the crash of the Hunter.
NASA knows that the Hunter didn’t crash in sight because there were hundreds of onlookers watching it launch. The Hunter will be tried again, but once NASA recovers from the first mishap.
